We started the year with an impressive multi-million dollar installation in Kuala Lumpur for a Malaysian Event Company. The location, "Taman Tasik Titiwangsa" which means "Lake Titiwangsa", is a 3km circumference lake with an audience capability of greater than 100k. In order for us to entertain the entire lake viewing area we installed FOUR world class waterscreen, video and laser displays on floating barges evenly situated around the lake with one central barge containing 4 high powered 50Watt YAG lasers for sky effects. The waterscreens are 15m high by 35m wide, the video projection is made up of a double stack of 20k Barco projectors with a 10Watt full colour laser system for layering graphics effects and sky bound beam effects to support the presentation.

The entire infrastructure includes our custom control system driving the installation as well as the fireworks and audio. We also included in the design a closed loop telephone and video camera system sending video footage back to control from each waterscreen display, all linked to the internet for accessing from our office in Sydney via the internet allowing for full monitoring, servicing and controlling.

The connectivity of the installation included over 2.5km of underground and submersible fiber optic cabling designed and installed by Oracle with a redundant loop design so that if a fiber optic cable breaks, even during the show the information network will redirect all communications correctly within 3 milli seconds without fault. This included 18 above ground access points called "repeater pits" which contains the fiber optic network switches so that a laptop can can be connected at any point around the lake to work on the system or to detect problems. This massive scale project operates daily over 2007 and into 2008.

Howard’s Fireworks and H2o Entertainment were also contracted to produce a spectacular fireworks and water ski show combined with the display. Howards provided a spectacular fireworks dispaly on floating barges as well as mounted on H2os jet skis and boats. The entire fireworks was triggered by RF and was flawless and perfectly syncronised on every shot. H2o Entertainment provided ski boats with swivel skiers, sky skiers, pyramid skiers and flag lines as well as jet skiers with amazing manouvers.
