The Septor2 is the next generation of Septor laser systems. They are available as green, blue and green or full colour and features high speed scanners capable of projecting perfect text, graphics and stunning beam effects. The Septor2 can be externally controlled via the Oracle T3 Controller or Pangolin laser software or can be fitted with an internal Pangolin flashback USB or DMX controller. For most live operating applications the Oracle T3 controller is ideal and easy to operate. For applications that require mainly laser graphics; windows based, Pangolin LD2000 may be more suitable. A unique and special feature of the Septor2 laser system is it's dust sealed optical chamber which eliminates the need for user cleaning of delicate optics. There are two types of X,Y scanners available for the Septor2 laser. The X,Y scanners deflect the laser beam to create the images and graphics from both scan heads simultaneously or independantly. The standard Septor2 is fitted with dual scanners that are capable of 30,000 points per second and has a 60 degree maximum scan angle which is ideal for discos, laser effects and for projecting advertising, logos & 3D graphics. The second type of scanner available is the Cambridge 6210 which allows 50,000 points per second and 80 degrees maximum scan angle but costs a little more.
The Septor2 Colour features a totally sealed Red, Green & Blue laser diode unit that provides excellent stability and reliability. The laser diodes and combining optics have been developed to a level such that no user adjustment or alignment is necessary. This was a mandatory requirement for the Septor2 and has only recently been able to be satisfied. Another special feature of the Septor2 Colour is that the Blue frequency is especially deep allowing you to create beautiful pinks, purples and crimsons that other RGB systems can not.
